Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a hardware key. kotobase holds an Ed25519 key on your behalf, unlocked only by your passkey, and signs with it — so your account is a DID like every other caller's.

That key is server-custodied and passkey-gated, not a wallet. If you want sole custody, use your own did:key below.

The message contains a link and a six-digit code. They are the same one-time secret — using either one spends it, and both expire in ten minutes.

Mint one with kotoba cacao --aud https://authn.kotobase.net (kotoba-lang/org-chainagnostic-cacao). It authenticates once and is then burned, so a captured CACAO cannot be replayed.
